A Crappy Game, Bad Shrooms, a One Armed General
and Sean Becomes co-host of Mad Money

A lot has happened since my last missive.  The Cats were pillaged by the
Pirates in Pewter pants.  Nothing went right.  We let them block a put our
receivers caught only a case of the Hands of Stone Syndrome.  Our
running game looked more like a leisurely stroll game.  Lets just forget that
one and get ready for the Saints.

The perfect defense for the  Reggie Bush. kick off return.. Rhyse Lloyd #5,
that Dandy from Dover,  the Ball Boot'n Brit, the Bono look alike who kicks
the ball out of the end zone ...Why... Just because he can.  This guy was a
great pickup for us.  Brenda wants to teach him to kick field goals... I'm with
her -he put one through the uprights a couple of weeks ago from his own
40.  Thats a 70 yard field goal.  He is a freak.  Cajun shrimp boil at the
tailgate. And maybe some beads, but you gotta earn'em.

This week while traveling to St. Louis I had a steak and some mushrooms
broiled in butter.  Actually I think they were seasoned with E coli. It hit me
about 10:00pm Monday night.  This was a violent eruption of mount
Vesuvius but with a double vent action.   Yea and I had to get up the next
morning fly to Richmond for and a big employee meeting. Trembling in my
seat we flew on the corporate plane to Richmond.  While my colleges didn't
rag me about it,  the BigCat look like a sniveling Ned Beaty at his
introduction to WVA mountain lore.  Not too good.  I was out for the whole
day.  But I did loose some weight.

While in Richmond with my Yankee friends from the "Show Me State".  We
passed one of the many statues of the revered Stonewall Jackson.  I
commented to them that Stonewall was accidentally shot by his own men,
had to have his arm amputated and in fact it was buried in a separate
location from his body,  They all called the BS on the BigCat.  I have only
worked with these people for a few months and they already have seen
have noticed my propensity to amuse myself by hooking others on a big ole
fish story.  So they thought they I was telling the Bass Pro Shop of fishing
stories.  I didn't realise that my Midwest colleagues were so uneducated on
the War of Northern Aggression.  So as we walk into the hotel.  I boastfully
(imagine that) told them I could find any
one of these well educated Virginians to
confirm my story.
 Well this was the night
shift and the desk was tended by a woman
from new jersey and a man name Punjab.
So no confirmation there.  Well that is what
the Internet is for... So we decided on two
food   saleswomen from Fresno.  Had them
do a search on the death of the great
General.  And on May 3, 1863 the generals
left arm was laid to rest in Elkwood Va.  The
BigCat was vindicated.  They still called BS
on my explanation for how the Powhite
expressway got its name.

Lastly and most proudly I get to announce
that my dear son Sean and heir to the grill
has secured  an internship with ScottTrade
This is really cool news because Sean has been interested in the market
since he was 9.  Making some good investments and stumbling on some
bad ones as well.  But he seems to really enjoy it and it will be a great
opportunity to see if its something he wants to keep doing.  And I hope he
is really good at it and makes a lot of dough.  The way the 401K is going I
need some good advice on some hot stocks.  I figure in  10 or so years he
will be the new host of Mad Money.  Congrats dude you have worked hard
for this one.
